The “Iraqi Asas” Coalition, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, announced today, Wednesday, the completion of all legal procedures in the Electoral Commission to register lists of its candidates in the capital, Baghdad, and the provinces, to be the largest Iraqi civil electoral alliance that will run in the upcoming local elections, which is expected to take place at the end of this year.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Iraqi Asas Coalition, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, which consists of 22 political parties, was announced to run in the provincial elections.
