Rapid Support accuses the Sudanese army of bombing Doctors Hospital in Khartoum

The Rapid Support Forces announced, Today, Wednesday, in a statement, that “the Sudanese army attacked, by air, the buildings of the Doctors Hospital in Khartoum, which led to the destruction of the building.”

The statement said: “In a new violation added to the series of serious violations, the putschists and the remnants of the defunct regime today bombed the buildings of the Doctors Hospital in Khartoum, which led to the destruction of the building.”

It added, ” Al-Burhan coup militia continued its indiscriminate bombing of public and private property with aviation and heavy artillery, leaving behind hundreds of dead and wounded, and complete destruction of infrastructure, with the aim of forcibly displacing the civilian population.”

“The indiscriminate shelling caused the destruction of 18 hospitals, including medical equipment and devices, which impeded the return of these hospitals to service,” the statement continued.

The RSF statement concluded by saying: “We condemn these criminal acts and practices that constitute war crimes; we affirm that our battle against the putschists and their collaborators from the remnants of the former regime and sweeping away their traces continues so that the Sudanese can build a homeland that achieves their legitimate aspirations for stability, progress and prosperity.”

The Sudanese army announced in a statement last Thursday the return of its negotiating delegation from the Saudi city of Jeddah to the country, attributing the reason for the failure of the negotiations to the failure of the Rapid Support Forces to leave homes and hospitals as a starting point for negotiation.
