Manama: Racing Force Group, the leading supplier of motorsports safety products, and Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East," announced today the completion of the Bell Racing Helmets factory extension at BIC, alongside the groundbreaking for a new OMP production facility adjacent to the Bell Racing Helmets site. These developments signify a long-term commitment to Bahrain by the notable motorsport company. According to Bahrain News Agency, Bell Racing Helmets and OMP, both part of Racing Force Group, are central to the company's strategy. Racing Force is renowned for its advanced and comprehensive range of protection and performance products, used globally by top professionals, amateur drivers, race teams, and car manufacturers, sold under brands such as Bell Racing Helmets, OMP, Zeronoise, and Racing Spirit. The products under the Group's brands feature in all world championships of car and kart racing, contributing to numerous victories and titles annually. The ex pansion of the Bell Racing Helmets facility has doubled its production capacity, now covering 12,000 sqm. The factory produces a range of racing helmets used in various racing disciplines, including by 70% of drivers in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, and also manufactures Bell Mini Helmets, which replicate the models used by motorsport stars at a 1:2 scale. Meanwhile, construction has begun on a new factory for OMP, a leading designer and manufacturer of racewear, car parts, and accessories, to enhance motorsport safety under the Racing Force Group banner. The new 15,000 sqm facility, located next to the existing BIC plant, will allow for the production of key motorsport safety products. Racing Force Group has recently completed a capital increase, enabling Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company ("Mumtalakat") to become a strategic investor in the Group through a fully owned subsidiary. This investment aims to meet the growing global demand for motorsports safety products and supports the development of the new OMP facility, further strengthening the Group's position as a leader in motorsport safety systems. Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the BIC, expressed enthusiasm over these developments, highlighting the milestones achieved in partnership with Racing Force Group. He reaffirmed BIC's position as the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East and extended gratitude to the entities in Bahrain, particularly Mumtalakat, for their support. Stephane Cohen, Co-CEO of Racing Force Group and CEO of Racing Force Bahrain, reflected on the successful partnership with BIC since 2015, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Sakhir factory extension and the new facility. He acknowledged the support from BIC, Mumtalakat, and the Bahrain local community, indicating the new facility as a strategic asset to enhance OMP's production capabilities.
