Qatari Prime Minister Engages in Diplomatic Dialogue with Egyptian Foreign Minister

Manama: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, engaged in a telephone conversation with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing regional developments.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue concentrated on diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to manage tensions and promote regional security and stability. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, urging all parties to adhere to the agreements outlined in the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran. This includes ensuring safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to safeguard regional security and preserve the progress made.

He reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at reducing tensions and achieving a comprehensive agreement for lasting peace in the region.
