Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of the State of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone conversation with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The discussion focused on reviewing the cooperative ties between the two nations, as well as exploring ways to support and strengthen them.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the conversation also included an analysis of the latest regional developments, particularly concerning the ceasefire between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The ministers assessed efforts aimed at de-escalation, which are intended to contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman highlighted the necessity of all parties responding positively to the ongoing mediation efforts. He stressed that such cooperation could pave the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue. This approach is expected to lead to a sustainable agreement that would prevent renewed escalation.
