Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its deepest condolences and sympathies to the United Arab Emirates over the death of a civilian contractor serving with the UAE armed forces.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the victim was reported martyred during a routine mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain following an Iranian missile attack targeting the kingdom.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and support for all measures undertaken by both countries to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
The Ministry also extended condolences to the family of the martyr, wishing a swift recovery to those injured among the personnel of the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Bahrain Defence Force.
