The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Spain renewed their call for an immediate, permanent, and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, allowing the unhindered delivery of urgent humanitarian aid throughout the Gaza Strip, according to “Wafa” news agency.
In a joint statement today, Saturday, on the occasion of the first strategic dialogue between the two countries, which was held in the Spanish capital, Madrid, both sides called for ensuring that the necessary measures are taken to implement the ruling of the International Court of Justice issued on May 24, 2024, regarding Rafah.
The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Spain renewed their commitment to achieving a just and equitable peace, ensuring the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and stressed that achieving comprehensive and just peace in the region depends on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
