Doha: Qatar Airways, Qatar's national carrier, announced on Thursday that it will resume flights to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq's northern governorate of Erbil as of August 8.
According to Nam News Network, the airline confirmed the resumption of services via a post on US social media company X, stating, "Starting Aug 8 2026, Qatar Airways will resume flights to Bahrain (BAH), Erbil (EBL), and Kuwait (KWI)." The announcement comes after a temporary suspension of flights to these destinations, which remains in effect through August 7.
The suspension was initiated due to heightened tensions between the US and Iran in West Asia. Qatar Airways has urged passengers to check its official channels for the latest flight updates, ensuring travelers are informed of any changes that might occur.
