Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, the Chief of Public Security, conducted an inspection visit to the upcoming Hawar Resort project, accompanied by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of Customs. Dr Maher Al Shaer, Managing Director of Bareeq Al Retaj and Chairman of Hawar Hotels Company, welcomed them. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chief of Public Security stated that the visit aligns with the Interior Ministry's strategy to assess security and safety measures at vital establishments, ensuring the security of citizens and residents and strengthening public safety. He highlighted the importance of such major tourism projects in supporting Bahrain's tourism sector and achieving its development objectives. He commended the efforts of all entities involved in implementing the project, recognising it as a notable addition to Bahrain's tourism industry. Durin g the visit, Lieutenant General Al Hassan reviewed the resort's facilities, security infrastructure, safety protocols, emergency management, and security plans to secure this key project and its visitors.
