Public Security Chief and REHC CEO Discuss Equestrian and Horseracing Collaborations

Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, received Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC). The meeting was attended by Shaikh Hassan bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO of the REHC, and Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Haram, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Hassan praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the REHC, in elevating equestrian and horseracing in Bahrain to local, regional, and international prominence. He emphasized that the Interior Ministry, following the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, is dedicated to supporting all efforts by the sports sector in Bahrain to host international tournaments and races, thereby enhancing the Kingdom's reputation as a global hub for major sporting events.

The meeting highlighted the necessity for thorough coordination between both parties to support sporting events and activities organized by the REHC. It was agreed that ongoing meetings, follow-ups, and field visits are essential to achieving the desired standards and objectives, ensuring the safety and security of all participants and attendees.

Buheji expressed his gratitude to Lt. Gen. Al Hassan and emphasized a commitment to strengthening cooperation with the ministry to ensure the highest level of preparedness for all the club's activities.
