Manama: The Primary Healthcare Centres Board of Trustees held its fourth periodic meeting of 2026, chaired by Dr. Abdulwahab Mohammed Abdulwahab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and attended by board members and Dr. Ijlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Primary Healthcare Centres. The board convened to discuss several agenda items related to the operations at primary healthcare centres.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the board reviewed work developments and efforts focused on enhancing performance efficiency and developing the healthcare services system. The goal is to improve the quality of healthcare provided to citizens and residents. One of the key areas of discussion was the strategic plan for the next phase, which includes development initiatives and priorities aimed at enhancing institutional performance.
