President of BACA Engages with Moroccan Youth Minister in Rabat

Rabat: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), met with Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication of Morocco, on the sidelines of the 24th Ministerial Conference on Cultural Affairs in the Arab World, held in Rabat.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed various cultural issues of mutual interest, highlighting the importance of strengthening joint Arab cultural cooperation to achieve integration and facilitate the exchange of expertise among Arab countries. Such collaboration contributes to preserving cultural identity and enhancing the Arab cultural presence internationally.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed commended the conference for its organisation as well as the cultural movement in Morocco and its role in supporting and enriching Arab culture. He emphasised the deep cultural ties between the two countries, noting their long history of cooperation and joint initiatives, which have led to several achievements, strengthening cultural and civilisational exchange.
