Political Affairs Undersecretary: Gulf Air’s new flights deepen Bahrain’s economic partnership with Europe

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, participated in the launch of Gulf Air’s four new direct destinations in its global network to Milan and Rome in Italy, Nice in France and Manchester in the United Kingdom.

The celebration was held at Bahrain International Airport, in the presence of Acting CEO of the company, Captain Waleed Al-Alawi, Ambassadors of friendly countries and senior officials in the Ministry of Interior, Civil Aviation Affairs, Bahrain Airport Company, Bahrain Airport Services Company, and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.

The Undersecretary stressed that direct flights to more European capitals and cities will contribute to deepening the economic partnership of the Kingdom of Bahrain with friendly European countries, and developing trade and tourism exchange between the two sides in order to achieve common interests.
