Hillah: The Kidnapping Division in the Anti-Crime Department of the Babylon Police Command arrested two suspects who kidnapped an 18-year-old young man shortly after the kidnapping.
The Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier General Ali Al-Hasnawi, said, “The kidnapping was carried out fraudulently, as the two suspects lured the victim out of his home and then forced him to pay a ransom of 25 million dinars.
He added that as soon as the information was received by the Babylon Police, a working team was formed from the Kidnapping Division and information was collected and cameras were monitored, which led to identifying the suspects and reaching them after tracking the communications.
He added that the police transferred the suspects to the competent authorities to investigate them.”
