PM stresses the importance of the armament file as it is an entitlement linked to ending the presence of the int’l coalition

The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired the third meeting of the Supreme Armaments Committee.

Al-Sudani stressed, according to a statement by his media office, the importance of the armament file within the government’s program, as it is an entitlement linked to ending the presence of the international coalition.

The Commander-in-Chief entrusted the faction commanders with determining the weapons they need, indicating that the required financial allocations for armaments will be placed in the 2024 budget tables.

The Prime Minister stressed: ‘Completing the armament procedures has become a necessary and priority issue.
