PM Directs To Launch Labels From The Mesopotamian Civilization On The Halls Of The Government Palace

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, directed today, Sunday, to launch labels derived from the Mesopotamian civilization on the halls of the government palace.

A statement by the media office of the Prime Minister said, “It is an affirmation of the status of the Iraqi heritage and identity, and in order to consolidate the bright civilized names in our contemporary history and to be proud of them in front of the guests of Iraq and in front of generations, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, directed the launch of names derived from the Mesopotamian civilization in all its extensions, and the names of people that formed a milestone in the contemporary Iraqi culture and renaissance, in the halls and corridors of the government palace.

It added, as these halls will be adorned with the names of Father Anastas Marie Al-Karmali, the poet Muhammad Mahdi Al-Jawahiri, Dr. Ali Al-Wardi, the architect Zaha Hadid, and others, in fulfillment of those inspiring names for our present and future, and to communicate with and evoke the rich Mesopotamian heritage; pride in front of the visitors and guests of Iraq./ End
