Manama: As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, General Ziad Mahmoud Hab Al Reeh, Minister of Interior of the State of Palestine, visited several directorates of the Ministry of Interior, accompanied by Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit included stops at the Royal Police Academy, the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Science, and the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security. At the Royal Police Academy, the Palestinian Minister and his delegation viewed a documentary highlighting the international achievements of the Ministry of Interior's Pace Stick Division. They were also briefed on the Academy's academic and training programs, designed to prepare and qualify security personnel according to international standards. The visit included a field tour of key facilities within the Academy.
During the visit to the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Evidence, the Minister was briefed on efforts to combat crime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. The latest technologies and systems used in criminal investigations, such as digital forensics and evidence analysis, were presented. The meeting also explored cooperation in training and the exchange of expertise.
The visit concluded with a tour of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security. The Minister was informed about the Directorate's work in combating corruption, promoting integrity and transparency, and protecting the national economy. This includes measures to counter economic crimes and monitor suspicious activities across digital networks using advanced data analysis and tracking technologies.
