Pakistan Flood Death Toll Rises to 30

Lahore: The death toll from severe floods sweeping Punjab province in eastern Pakistan has risen to 30, according to Pakistani authorities. More than 481,000 people have been evacuated from affected areas and moved to safe locations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Marriyum Aurangzeb, a senior minister in Punjab's provincial government, stated that 68,477 people had been rescued over the past 36 hours. The floods have caused widespread disruption, prompting a large-scale evacuation effort to ensure the safety of the affected residents.
