PACI agrees with Zain to insert Kuwait Finder into Telecom Co. apps

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) and the telecommunication company Zain declared on Saturday inking a cooperation deal to activate the application of localized information and address (Kuwait Finder), where PACI’s geographical systems would team with Zain’s application.

PACI Acting Director General said in a statement that he was pleased with Zain’s joining the parties that benefit from the geographical systems — offered by the authority to more than 300 government departments and authorities.

The local information gateway provides a host of potentials and data, he said, explaining that the gateway is an incubator where PACI offers data about diverse enterprises in the realm of geographical information, such as medium and drone photography.

He has affirmed the significance of such projects to back up PACI’s digital transformation, indicating a hike in users’ confidence — who account to 2.5 million, in addition to 50 institutions.

Meanwhile, Zain CEO Nawaf Al-Gharabally said he was satis
fied with the cooperation with PACI, which depicts strategic cooperation between the public and private sectors.

PACI’s geographical information will add great value to Zain’s smart services.
