Muharraq: Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman, visited the Pearling Path in Muharraq as part of his official visit to Bahrain. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments; Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and Faisal bin Harib bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Omani Ambassador to Bahrain, were present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the tour, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed explored the key landmarks of the Pearling Path, which stands as a living testament to the rich cultural and economic heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its historic prominence in the pearl trading and diving domains.
Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed commended the efforts to preserve Bahrain's national identity and protect its urban and cultural heritage. He expressed his appreciation for the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and its initiatives in this domain.
