Omani Council of Ministers Secretary General Visits Al Madar Centre at Foreign Ministry

Manama: Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman, visited Al Madar Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, he was received by Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies; Ambassador Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Faisal bin Harib bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Omani Ambassador to Bahrain; Fatima Abdulghani Ismail, Assistant Secretary General for Information and Session Management at the Cabinet; and Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ali Khalid Al Araifi, Chief of Al Madar Centre, provided an overview of the centre's work, explaining its role in monitoring and analysing political developments and regional and international positions. He described the centre's contributions through coordination with various departments of the ministry, as well as Bahrain's diplomatic and consular missions abroad, in supporting the goals of Bahraini diplomacy. He noted that these efforts assist in advancing the Kingdom's national interests and reinforcing its standing regionally and internationally, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy acknowledged the efforts of Al Madar Centre in supporting diplomatic work and promoting cooperation among Arab states. He also acknowledged Bahrain's progress in the diplomatic domain, reflecting its strategic vision and balanced positions that enhance its regional and international standing.
