Manama: Oil prices rose for a fifth day on Thursday. Brent crude futures increased by $2.42, or 2.6%, reaching $96.49 by 0640 GMT. This marks the highest price since June 8. The previous session saw Brent crude settle up more than $3 at $94.07, nearing a six-week high.
According to Bahrain News Agency, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude also experienced a rise, climbing $1.59, or 1.8%, to $88.42. This follows a 3% increase on Wednesday.
