Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, welcomed Osman Ahmed, Group Chief Executive Officer of the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), to discuss the enhancement of public-private partnerships aimed at supporting sustainable environmental initiatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the crucial role banking institutions play in fostering environmental projects and promoting sustainable resource management and environmental conservation practices. He acknowledged NBB's significant contributions to economic development, particularly in strategic projects within the energy and environment sectors.
Osman Ahmed reiterated the bank's commitment to supporting key sectors that are essential to the national economy, including energy. He emphasized NBB's ongoing dedication to aligning with national efforts for achieving sustainable development goals and fulfilling the country's aspirations in this regard.
