Manama: Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Dr. Abdullah Al Kuwaiz, Secretary General of the Arab Energy Forum. Jassim Al Shirawi, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum, also attended the meeting. The minister highlighted the Arab Energy Forum's efforts in developing studies and innovative solutions that enhance economic development in the Arab region, encourage research into the energy sector, and support the optimal adoption of renewable energy policies and solutions. He expressed his wishes for the forum's success in implementing projects that will serve the prosperity of the energy sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Kuwaiz praised the progress achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the energy sector. He reviewed the forum's current and future programmes, emphasizing the importance of the specialized human resources within the forum in providing creative solutions and exploring investment opportunities. Dr. Al Kuwaiz also expressed his appreciation to the minister for his continuous support of the forum's programmes and initiatives.
