Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, will attend the opening of the 9th edition of the Global Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Conference and Exhibition on Monday.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event is held under the theme 'Connecting Minds, Inspiring Transformation' and is organised by iCONEX in collaboration with the Ministry of Oil and Environment. It is supported by Aramco, Bapco Energies, and other local, regional, and international partners.
The four-day event will bring together more than 5,000 participants from across the globe, featuring over 150 speakers and 50 companies representing 30 countries. The conference aims to advance knowledge and capabilities in health, safety, and environmental fields through the adoption of innovative systems and solutions that support HSE transformation.
The programme includes keynote speeches by industry leaders, high-level panels, technical sessions, and specialised workshops. These will address topics such as HSE workforce development, contractor management, human factors, behavioural safety, digital innovation, sustainability, crisis preparedness, process safety, and the role of artificial intelligence in HSE.
Three dedicated forums will focus on public HSE, construction HSE, and youth HSE. Additionally, an innovation zone will showcase creative systems and solutions from universities and other institutions.
