NPRA Undersecretary Receives Delegation from Dubai’s Identity and Foreigners Affairs Directorate

Manama: Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), received a delegation from Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. This visit aimed at reviewing best practices adopted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the fields of visas, residency, and regulatory operations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, Shaikh Hisham emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries. This exchange is aimed at developing work systems and facilitating procedures for beneficiaries, reflecting the depth of Bahraini-Emirati relations.

Both sides reviewed Bahrain's experience in developing the visit visa issuance system and its associated processes. They also discussed visa issuance mechanisms between the two countries and ways to enhance procedures that support smoother passenger movement.

The meeting highlighted Bahrain's residency systems, including the Golden Residency, Platinum Residency, and the Personal Sponsorship System. They also discussed enhancing cooperation to develop systems for addressing violations and implementing modern regulatory measures.

On their part, the Emirati delegation expressed their appreciation for the pioneering experiences and advanced practices they observed in Bahrain. They underlined their commitment to enhancing cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two countries.
