Manama: Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), recently held a meeting with Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially concerning residency affairs and the status of the Bangladeshi community in Bahrain.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman reiterated the NPRA's commitment to strengthening cooperation with accredited embassies in Bahrain. The Bangladeshi ambassador praised the NPRA for its efforts in facilitating procedures for the Bangladeshi community. He emphasized Bangladesh's eagerness to bolster cooperation, reflecting the deep-rooted ties between the two countries.
