Manama: Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Northern Governor, accompanied by Colonel Abdullah Ali Mantar, Deputy Northern Governor, conducted an inspection tour of several Maatams (community centres) in the governorate on the occasion of the Arbaeen commemoration, which marks the fortieth day after Ashoora. The visit was aimed at reviewing the organisational measures and efforts to ensure that all requirements were met for holding religious rituals in a safe environment.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Madani reiterated the governorate's commitment to closely monitoring coordination, security, and service arrangements for religious events. He took the opportunity to commend the Interior Ministry, relevant entities, and the dedicated role of Maatam heads and officials in ensuring the success of the event.
Maatam heads and officials expressed their appreciation to the governor for his follow-up and oversight during the preparations. They also praised the efforts of the security and service authorities in ensuring that the rituals were conducted in the best possible manner, highlighting the importance of such collaborations in maintaining the safety and integrity of religious observances.
