Manama: Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Northern Governor, chaired a meeting of the Governorate's Security Committee, attended by Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Abdullah Mantar, the Deputy Director General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, and several committee members representing security authorities. The governor expressed appreciation to the security directorate for its ongoing efforts in maintaining order and enforcing the law, noting the teamwork and cooperation among various authorities and civil society institutions. He said this collaboration supports security objectives, serves the public interest, and enhances the quality of life in the governorate. He emphasised that raising community awareness is essential in preventing risks and promoting stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed preparations for an upcoming anti-drug awareness exhibition, organised in cooperation with Budaiya Sports Club and the Maan 'Together' Regional Centre for Research and Training. It also discussed related security matters to safeguard community safety, including organising workshops and awareness lectures on the causes of fires during the summer.
