Tokyo: Japan's Nikkei index fluctuated in trading and was on track to post a weekly loss as investors weighed concerns over technology stock valuations against positive economic indicators. The benchmark Nikkei 225 rose 0.74% to 69,243.68 points, while the broader Topix index gained 0.91% to 4,051.48 points.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Nikkei was on course for a weekly decline of 0.17%.
