NCC CEO Commends National Competencies for Advancing Government Communication Goals

Manama: Ahmed Khalid Al Arifi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC), received directors of communication from various government entities following the decision to restructure joint communication services and transfer their responsibilities to the NCC.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Arifi emphasised that the communication sector is a key pillar in enhancing government performance and plays a central role in supporting national programmes and initiatives aligned with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Al Arifi commended the dedication of national communication professionals, describing their work as a reflection of Bahraini resolve and renewed ambition in serving the nation. He noted the importance of unified efforts to consolidate government messaging, enhance coordination, and operate within a governance-based framework that highlights Bahrain's achievements and priorities.

He noted that the restructuring aligns with institutional developments in other sectors, and emphasised that the next phase will focus on building an integrated communication system that balances central oversight with flexibility in implementation.

Al Arifi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of communication teams across ministries and public institutions, reiterating the NCC's commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at enhancing communication performance in line with the Kingdom's aspirations and its citizens.
