Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, is gearing up for a thrilling triple-header on Friday, November 21, as part of the third round of National Race Day for the 2025/2026 season. The event promises an exciting lineup with three of the Kingdom’s prominent local championships: the Bahrain Touring Car Challenge (BTCC), the Bahrain Motorcycle Championship (BMC), and Time Attack. The action-packed schedule will run from morning until early evening in Sakhir.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event is organized and run by BIC in collaboration with the Bahrain Motor Federation, the Circuit Racing Commission, the Bahrain Motorcycle Commission, and the Bahrain Auto X and Drift Commission. The races will take place on BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Track, with the day’s activities starting at 9:45 AM and continuing under lights until 7 PM.
The event is open to all, with tickets priced at BD 2 for adults and BD 1 for children. Tickets are available online at bahraingp.com, via the BIC Hotline on +973 – 17450000, or at the gate. Spectators will enjoy the racing spectacle from the Beyon Grandstand, which provides excellent views of key sections of the circuit, including the Inner Straight where the start and finish lines are located.
The BTCC will kick off the day’s proceedings with practice at 9:45 AM, followed by qualifying at 12:45 PM. The first of two races will commence at 2:25 PM, with the second race at 4:50 PM. Ali Almansoori is expected to lead the BTCC field, having won all four races so far this season.
In the BMC, action will unfold in both the 1,000cc and 600cc classes. Saeed Al Sulaiti emerged victorious in the 1,000cc class in the previous meeting, while Mohammed Alzaidan claimed the top spot in the 600cc category. BMC practice is set for 10:20 AM, with qualifying at 12:45 PM. The race will begin at 3:10 PM.
Time Attack rounds off Friday’s program with competitions across various categories, including SU, UL, MA, SA, MB, and SB. Time Attack practice is scheduled for 10:55 AM, with the first heats for SU, UL, and MA at 1:45 PM, followed by SA, MB, and SB at 3:55 PM. The second heats for all categories will start at 5:35 PM, with podium ceremonies concluding the day’s events.
BIC’s 2025/2026 racing calendar comprises seven rounds of National Race Day. After this weekend’s action, the series will resume next year with round four on January 10. Round five will take place on February 6, followed by the penultimate round on March 13, leading to the grand finale on April 24.
