National Guard Conducts First Virtual Exercise Under Command of Shaikh Abdulaziz

Manama: Under the directives of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director, oversaw the first virtual exercise executed by the Guard's units and battalions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, senior officers joined the National Guard Staff Director for a comprehensive briefing on the exercise's objectives, preparations, and operational scenarios, as well as the readiness of National Guard formations to effectively respond in emergency situations. The exercise incorporated multiple scenarios across various locations under the National Guard's jurisdiction, including simulated crisis management situations and mechanisms for cooperation with the Kingdom's security agencies.

The exercise aimed to evaluate the competence of commanders and officers in planning and decision-making processes, ensuring that formations keep pace with technological advancements in modern warfare. It also sought to enhance participants' training in executing different phases of the exercise to meet current conditions and challenges. Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud affirmed the National Guard's commitment to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's directives to maintain a prepared and capable force, ready to safeguard the Kingdom's security and stability.

At the exercise's conclusion, the National Guard Staff Director met with participants, conveyed the greetings of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa, and praised their high morale, professionalism, and strong performance throughout the drill.
