Manama: General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received the National Guard's Hajj delegation ahead of its departure to Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage. The delegation comprises officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel. The meeting included the presence of Lieutenant-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the National Guard.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister. HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa wished the delegation success in performing Hajj, emphasizing the importance of upholding Bahrain's reputation and fostering unity and cooperation with fellow pilgrims.
HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa also recognized the efforts of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in facilitating the pilgrimage and ensuring the wellbeing of pilgrims.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri, Advisor for Religious Affairs at the National Guard, expressed appreciation for the Commander's continuous support and follow-up. He noted the Commander's commitment to ensuring the mission's administrative readiness and fulfilling all its requirements.
