Manama: His Highness Major General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the National Guard, inaugurated the second phase of the National Guard Medical Complex, coinciding with the celebrations of the 28th anniversary of the National Guard's establishment. General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa unveiled the plaque marking the inauguration and commencement of operations at the facility before touring its sections and receiving a briefing on the latest developments.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the launch of this phase is part of the National Guard's development strategy to enhance healthcare services for its personnel. The complex features expanded outpatient and emergency facilities, specialised clinics in orthopaedics, ENT, and dentistry, a modern physiotherapy unit, and advanced medical technologies for 24/7 emergency care.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa highlighted the National Guard's advancement under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa emphasized that opening the medical complex is a strategic step to strengthen medical preparedness, provide top-quality healthcare, and support operational readiness.
