Nasser Bin Hamad Cycling Tour for Amateurs Commences Wednesday Under Royal Patronage.

Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), the fourth Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour for Amateurs will kick off on Wednesday, November 6. The event is organised in collaboration with the General Sports Authority (GSA), the Bahrain Cycling Association (BCA), and Faalyat (Events). HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that the cycling tour aligns with goals to promote the sport and its benefits for public health, noting that previous editions successfully identified new talents and broadened the base for cycling enthusiasts. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad extended his best wishes to all participants, including citizens, residents, and international competitors, instructing the organising committee to ensure all needs are met and provide ideal conditions for a successful event. The tour will b egin with a 6-kilometre stage at Al Jazayar Beach on Wednesday. Thursday's second stage will cover 65 kilometres, followed by a 153-kilometre third stage on Friday. Saturday's fourth stage spans 80 kilometres, with an additional 40-kilometre women's race. The event will also feature a race for children and people of determination on Saturday morning, fostering an inclusive environment for all participants.
