Kuwait City: Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipalities Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, participated in the 41st GCC meeting of senior municipal officials held in Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting approved several key initiatives, including the GCC afforestation manual prepared by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the integrated waste management manual, and the urban design guidelines. The meeting also discussed the establishment of a GCC urban research centre, which will be hosted by the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed emphasized the significance of these initiatives in advancing joint Gulf municipal work.
