Abu dhabi: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, participated in the 38th Near East and North Africa Regional Conference, hosted by the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting brought together ministers, senior officials, international and regional organisations, and stakeholders from across the agricultural sector. Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth at the Ministry, also attended.
Discussions centred on progress achieved under the FAO's 2024-2025 programmes and set out priorities for the coming period, with particular emphasis on advancing sustainable agriculture, enhancing resilience to climate change, strengthening food supply systems, and promoting innovation and investment in the sector.
