Municipalities Minister Inspects Isa Town Park, Highlights Ongoing Development Efforts

Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, inspected Isa Town Park in Block 809: highlighting the ministry's continued efforts to develop parks and public facilities, expand green spaces, and support environmental sustainability.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister reported that 90% of the park's development project has been completed. Covering an area of 7,551 square metres, the project includes a 430-square-metre children's playground and a 1,890-metre walking path. The development also features expanded green spaces covering 4,038 square metres, the planting of 210 trees, and 40 parking spaces. Construction works are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

The minister noted that the project represents an important addition to the service and recreational facilities in the Southern Governorate. It forms part of the ministry's efforts to provide facilities that meet the needs of citizens and residents.

He also praised the constructive cooperation with the Southern Governorate Municipal Council in identifying residents' needs and implementing development projects.
