Municipalities Minister Engages with Livestock Sector Ahead of Eid Al Adha

Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, held a meeting with livestock breeders and traders to enhance communication and coordination within the livestock sector. The discussions focused on preparations for the supply of livestock and meat in local markets, particularly in anticipation of Eid Al Adha.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Mubarak emphasized the ministry's commitment to supporting livestock breeders and traders by facilitating import operations. This initiative aims to ensure a steady flow of supplies, meeting the demands of the local market.

The minister stressed the need for continued collaboration with breeders and traders to guarantee sufficient availability of livestock and meat during the Eid Al Adha season. He reiterated the ministry's dedication to strengthening the Kingdom's food security by supporting the livestock sector, developing veterinary services, and enhancing inspections of imported livestock to protect public health and ensure the safety of animal products in the markets.

Livestock breeders and traders expressed their appreciation for the ministry's facilities and procedures that support import operations. They recognized the ministry's commitment to cooperation, which contributes to market stability and the adequate supply of livestock.
