Muharraq Governorate to Host ‘Heya Beya’ Event

Muharraq: The Muharraq Governorate Council, in a recent session attended by Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, Governor of Muharraq, and other notable officials, announced plans to host the 'Heya Beya' event. The session saw participation from Brigadier Jassim Mohammed Al Ghattam, Deputy Governor; Brigadier Sultan Ahmed Al Kaabi, Director General of the Muharraq Police Directorate; MP Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata; Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Naar, Chairman of the Muharraq Municipal Council; alongside community figures and residents.

According to Bahrain News Agency, participants expressed their gratitude to Saudi Arabia for the support provided to Bahraini pilgrims and praised the efforts of Bahrain's Hajj mission in facilitating services for the pilgrims. The session also included commendations for the Supreme Council for Environment and national stakeholders for their initiatives to protect marine resources, emphasizing the need to preserve fish stocks for future generations.

The Muharraq Governorate, in collaboration with Inter Gulf Insurance Broker, will organize the 'Heya Beya' heritage event at Sama Bay park on Wednesday. This event aims to celebrate Bahrain's cultural traditions and enhance Muharraq's reputation as a heritage and tourism destination.

In his concluding remarks, Sultan Al Kaabi highlighted plans to intensify security patrols in residential areas during the summer break to ensure public safety and stability across the governorate.
