Manama: Jalila Al Sayed, Member of the Council of Representatives, said that the Kingdom of Bahrain is facing a critical phase amid regional developments and the Iranian attacks targeting its security and stability, noting that these circumstances place a national responsibility on all to demonstrate the highest levels of awareness and loyalty.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Sayed mentioned that the remarks delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the media were clear and decisive, stressing that the nation comes above all, and that its security and stability are a red line that does not allow compromise. She noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a trust borne by all its citizens, requiring unity in confronting challenges.
She added that the current phase requires representatives of the people to uphold national principles, strengthen unity, and confront any attempts to undermine the stability of the Kingdom or compromise its sovereignty, stressing that national alignment is a shared responsibility that does not allow hesitation or division.
Al Sayed commended the high readiness of the Bahrain Defence Force and security agencies, noting their vigilance and readiness in protecting the Kingdom and preserving its achievements, and their ability to address various security challenges.
She said that any conduct or position that conflicts with the interests of the nation, or reflects narrow alignment, constitutes a departure from national consensus and a violation of the bond between citizens and their country, which is based on loyalty and belonging. She stressed the importance of preserving the integrity of parliamentary work as a national responsibility and an honour that requires full commitment to national interests.
Al Sayed concluded by stressing that the current phase requires responsible national discourse that strengthens trust, preserves unity, and safeguards national achievements, reinforcing Bahrain's position as a country of security and stability and meeting the aspirations of its people for further development and prosperity.
