Morocco and Moldova Commit to Boosting Bilateral Cooperation

Rabat: Morocco and Moldova have expressed a mutual commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors. In a Joint Declaration following discussions between Nasser Bourita, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, and Mihai Pop?oi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, both ministers reaffirmed their intention to strengthen political dialogue and bilateral cooperation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers have pledged to increase economic, trade, and cultural ties between the two countries. They agreed to organize a business forum to explore partnership opportunities in fields such as agriculture, fertilizers, energy, industrial subcontracting, digital technologies, and cybersecurity. Additionally, they will investigate ways to further develop cooperation between their respective diplomatic academies.

During the visit, several agreements were signed, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the bilateral legal framework in areas of mutual interest. The ministers highlighted the constructive roles of both countries in promoting stability, security, and peace in their regions and expressed a shared commitment to resolving conflicts peacefully while respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states.
