Monsoon Death Toll in Pakistan Rises to 291

Islamabad: The death toll from heavy monsoon rains and flash floods in Pakistan since June 26 has risen to 291, with 698 others injured, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the NDMA reported that approximately 826 houses have been damaged due to the rains and flooding. The fatalities include 102 men, 51 women, and 138 children. Rescue and relief operations are ongoing across the affected areas in coordination with provincial authorities.
