Manama: The Board of Directors of Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari Teachers College convened for its regular meeting, chaired by Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Chairperson of the board, with members in attendance. The meeting focused on reviewing the college's academic progress and strategic plans.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Lucy Bailey, Dean of the college, presented an overview of the college's achievements for the 2025/2026 academic year and preparations for the upcoming year. The discussion centered on development plans aimed at achieving strategic objectives and improving educational outcomes.
The meeting also covered operational plans and the accomplishments of supporting committees focused on enhancing teacher preparation programmes in areas such as special education, education policy, and early education. These initiatives include comprehensive programme reviews and aligning academic and training plans with the Ministry of Education's requirements, as well as strengthening the integration between theoretical and practical aspects.
The board underscored the importance of close collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari Teachers College. The goal is to enhance teacher and school leadership preparation programmes, improve professional competencies, and make effective use of available resources.
