MoFA Updates Diplomatic Missions on Bahrain’s Civil Protection Measures

Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a diplomatic briefing today for the heads and members of the diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain on national civil protection efforts and recent security developments. Organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the briefing was conducted via video conference and attended by senior officials from several government entities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting formed part of Bahrain's diplomatic approach aimed at promoting transparency, engagement, and continuous constructive communication with the diplomatic community. The initiative also supported efforts to strengthen cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries and to keep diplomatic partners informed of national civil protection measures undertaken by relevant authorities in the Kingdom.

During the session, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, delivered a comprehensive overview of recent security developments and the precautionary measures adopted by the Kingdom to enhance civil protection and safeguard public safety. The briefing was held in the presence of Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce; Ahmed Khalid Al Oraifi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC); and Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Participants were briefed on the steps taken by Bahraini authorities to strengthen preparedness and ensure the continued security, stability, and safety of citizens and residents. On his part, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, expressed appreciation to the heads and members of the diplomatic missions for their continued cooperation and commitment to strengthening communication and collaboration.

He emphasised the importance of building on the advanced levels of partnership achieved in recent years, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to dedicate all available capabilities to safeguarding the security and wellbeing of its citizens and residents. Heads and members of the diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain expressed their appreciation to the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs for the comprehensive briefing and the opportunity to review the latest developments. They also commended the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability, wishing Bahrain continued safety, prosperity, and progress.
