Minister of Information Highlights Digital Transformation Efforts at TikTok Workshop

Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, attended the conclusion of a workshop organised by the ministry in cooperation with TikTok, with the participation of representatives from government and private entities in Bahrain. The minister emphasized the initiative as a reflection of the ministry's vision to advance digital transformation in communication and media. He underscored the commitment to equipping national professionals with global tools and expertise to strengthen public engagement.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi noted that these efforts bolster Bahrain's status as a regional hub for digital media and prepare the nation to host significant events, such as the upcoming Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025) in October. He expressed optimism that the skills and knowledge acquired during the workshop would help showcase Bahrain's cultural image and present upcoming sporting events innovatively.

Abdulrahman Khamis Al Rumaihi, Director of Creativity and Electronic Media Directorate at the Ministry of Information, highlighted the constructive partnership with leading global platforms like TikTok. He stated that such cooperation creates an empowering environment for national professionals, enabling them to adopt best practices in content creation. Al Rumaihi added that these initiatives enhance Bahrain's reputation as a creative hub in digital media.
