The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, affirmed that no statement was made to the Israeli Army Radio (Galei Tzahal) about expanding the scope of peace agreements between the State of Israel and any named countries.
The Minister added that the Ministry’s media statements only related to the visit of the Bahraini commercial delegation to the State of Israel and he reiterated that he had not spoken about or on behalf of any country.
Al Zayani stressed that what has been attributed to him is wholly incorrect and expressed his surprise at inaccurate reporting of the successful official visit he made to Israel with a Bahraini commercial delegation, which was solely focused on increasing trade between the two countries.
