Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, highlighted that the unwavering support for Bahrain's youth sector, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has been instrumental in empowering young people across various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, she commended His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, for leading impactful youth initiatives that extend beyond Bahrain and help develop a confident, capable generation ready to compete globally.
On Gulf Youth Day, the minister said the occasion reflects the unity among GCC countries and highlights youth as a vital force in sustainable development.
She noted that Bahraini youth are achieving success in advanced sectors like satellite design and scientific missions, showing they can turn ambition into real achievements.
Minister Tawfiqi added that Gulf Youth Day is an opportunity to boost regional cooperation through innovation and technology, while maintaining Gulf identity.
She expressed pride in Gulf youth for representing their countries internationally and contributing to the region's growing reputation for creativity and excellence.
