Manama: The top three winners of the Media Talents Award 2024 expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Information for the invaluable opportunity to enhance their skills in acting across television, cinema, and theatre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the winners articulated the significance of the award during the closing ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs. They described the accolade as a pivotal step in their artistic journeys.
Hassan Al Attawi, who secured the first-place position, shared that the award has opened new doors for him in television, an area where he was previously less known compared to his theatre work. He acknowledged the support received during the training, which enhanced his performance and character interpretation capabilities, attributing his achievements to the power of teamwork.
Reem Isa, the second-place winner, emphasized that the training's blend of theory and practice allowed her to hone her skills under expert guidance. She mentioned that the experience increased her confidence and inspired her to pursue a professional acting career.
Nasser Nabeel, who came in third, considered the training a valuable educational experience. He underscored the significance of the acting techniques he acquired, such as voice control and character development. He stressed that the award represents a collective success for all participants, rather than just individual recognition.
